The Heart of the Matter: Putting Words on Paper
This section is perhaps the most important of all.
Most of us don’t think very much about our writing tools. We simply sharpen the pencil or turn on Microsoft Word.
Yet there exist many word processors and writing tools that are crafted with writers, rather than business organizations, in mind. It amazes me how few of us know about them.
In this section, we will explore many such programs, providing screenshots that uncover the inner logic of each. Don’t be surprised if you discover a favorite word processor here, other than Word — and that some tool will surface that will make your writing life much more productive.
