Novel Software: WriteItNow!
Someday I intend myself to review WriteItNow!, a software for novelists. In the meantime, I’ll share with you another review by writer Debra Broughton, which I stumbled across today. [For other posts of interest to writers, check out her categories software for writers and tips for writers.]
I will add a couple of observations. The software is now available as a downloadable demo so that you can try it out. It is available for both PC and Mac operating systems. The software’s website is regularly updated — there have been some helpful changes since I last visited it last January. The screenshots and FAQ are specific enough to give a full idea about the software’s capability. I suggest you scroll down the page and click on some of the links under NEWS. The interviews with writers are quite interesting.

I’ve never tried WriteitNow, but I’m a big fan of PageFour. It makes navigating between chapters is so easy, and has all the word processing features you could ever want. I converted a year ago and never looked back.
And of course - it’s one in the eye to Microsoft, which makes it even sweater.
As this blog/website evolves, I hope we’ll have some spirited discussion about the relative merits of these programs.
