Planning Ahead: Take A Class This Fall
Soon parents will start worrying about preparing to send their children “back to school,” and all the steps that entails. How many, however, will stop to plan their own continuing education?
MediaBistro, which I have written about several times before, is offering a very rich and broad array of online courses beginning in September. Now’s a good time to review the course list and to consider putting one or more of them on your fall schedule.
I’ve taken a look myself. As I’ll be travelling through California in August and in September, I’ve even looked at on-site courses offered in Los Angeles and San Francisco, before making my airline bookings. I’ve even found one course in San Francisco that I may build my travel schedule around, depending on issues of lodgings and ground transportation. If you ever travel to California, New York City, Boston or Washington, D.C. you may wish to make similar advance plans.
