Serialization Via The Internet: A New Delivery Option

Would you like to be the next Charles Dickens? He established his fame by publishing his books as serials in newspapers and magazines.

Now DailyLit wants to re-invent the serial, promising to deliver books selected by readers in easy-to-digest chunks via email or RSS. At its startup, only books in the public domain are being offered, but that may expand to cover new books. Writers of short fiction and novellas may eventually find this to be a novel delivery system.

Thanks to the Eric Olsen and Somewhat Frank blogs for bringing this startup to my attention.

Hey Thomas,

Glad you found the post of interest! Just wanted to make a quick correction: my name is Eric Olson not Ed Olsen. :-)
