Open Office 3.0: Mark Your Calendars

The free office suite Open Office will soon hurl a major challenge at Microsoft Office with its major upgrade from version 2.4 to 3.0 sometime this September. There will be some new features that will appeal especially to writers of longer work. I just came across a report with intriguing screenshots taken from the beta version.
