I’ve been obsessed with time management since the early 1970’s when I was given the responsibility of devising a management training program for professionals working for non-profit organizations. I personally still haven’t become a true master of my own time. I seem to go through periods of productive time management, followed by periods of chaos.

Consequently, I always keep my eye open for books, training videos and computer programs that might rejuvenate my efforts.

Today, via my internet connections, I was led to one of the best overviews of time management I’ve ever encountered.at www.wakeupproductiveblog.com. [A tip of the hat to Harris Fellman, who led me there.]

This video, by a business trainer named Eben, is one of the best I’ve ever come across. Yes, it’s a free loss leader for a much-larger program — but even by itself, it is very valuable. Eben, for one thing, focuses on “knowledge workers.” Hey, as writers, that’s US. Note, however, that depending on the kind of writing you do, you may wish to readjust some of his time allocations.

Anyway, here it is. The video runs for just over 30 minutes, time well spent.

[I'm posting this via Vodpod, which I've been using personally for several months. This is the first time I've utilized its "Post To Blog" facility. I'll be interested to see just how well it works.]
