Online Word Processing and Storage Take Another Step Forward
The Web Worker Daily Blog reports breaking news about a tie up between the Zoho Online office suite and mass online storage facility Box.net. Now one can call up a document within Box.net and work on it in the Zoho online word processor — the two are neatly integrated. A similar tie-up has been made between Zoho and OmniDrive, another online storage facility.
These affiliations are very attractive to writers, especially those that travel a lot. They also provide document security and backup.
Web Worker Daily speculates about a similar office-suite/storage facility tie-up within Google, which has all the elements already in place. Can it be far behind?
