I just discovered Scrib'd a couple of days ago and I love it. The only problem with the views is it still has a few kinks. The site also has a LOT of adult content, which according to their blog they are trying to minimize. Anyway, I wish more people knew of this website. I've already gotten at least 73 views on my document. However, I have yet to get any comments.... :_( So, like you I saw the potential to publish stuff for the fun of it, without having to go through the writing industry "rigmarole."
