Writers may well wish to join GoodReads, a new social networking website aimed particularly at book readers and, by extension, writers.
Members of this network, which is free and easy to join, post notices about books they have read, with short reviews. Other members may in this way learn about books they would themselves like to read. Such books can be placed in the My Books section, on separate “bookshelves” labelled To Read, Currently Reading or Read.
Members can also search for member book reviews by title or author.
Writers are encouraged to join, and they are listed separately under the Writing Tab. Quite a number have already joined. Many have posted sample chapters of their books to entice new readers.
Members can add other members to a My Friends list, an avenue to building relationships with other avid readers and writers. In existence only a short time, the site has already attracted a world-wide audience. Writers may indeed find membership at GoodReads a valuable marketing tool.

I can’t seem to get your RSS feed to work with my program. Do you mind telling me the url so I can read your posts on my own program?
