Travel Writing: Building A Reputation
It seems everyone wants to be a travel writer. Visions of free airfare and ritzy resorts attract aspiring writers to expensive seminars and insider limited-edition training materials.
Breaking into print, however, is difficult without a track record.
The new website Wayfaring offers users an opportunity to build a library of “tours” that can showcase one’s creativity. Here’s a real test for creating interesting and eye-catching content. Who knows? Creating some tours here may lead to topics of interest to print media.
