I’ve been working this blog now for over a year, starting three months even before the first posting, gathering information and developing the blog’s concept. And, still, I frequently learn about additional online resources new to me.

Michael A. Stelzner’s blog at Writing White Papers, with over 20,000 subscribers, has long been one of the best. The blog is currently accepting nominations for its own contest to choose a list of the Top 10 Blogs for Writers. The Call for Nominations is attracting a lot of nominations in its Comments section. I’ve read all the comments and have learned about several blogs new to me, some of which will be appropriate for me to add to my Websites page here.

You may wish to swing by Michael’s blog to see what all the excitement is about. If you feel like it, submit a nomination of your own. Since only one nomination is allowed per person, put forward your favorite blog for writers [hopefully, Becoming A Writer Seriously might receive at least two to qualify for consideration].

A REMINDER: Writer’s Digest editor Maria Schneider, in her blog The Writer’s Perspective, is well into her campaign of adding one new link a week for 20 weeks to her own list of favorite blogs. She’s uncovered some great material, including some brand new blogs still seeking readership.

I guess it’s the time of year for the cream to rise to the surface.

MORE BLOGS: If you still haven’t found your dream blog yet, check out Blog Catalog. It lists over 3000 in the writing category alone, and that’s just one category out of many. Also, in case you didn’t know, Google now offers a search facility of blogs, another good source of information.
