Again, super blog TechCrunch is breaking the news: Acrobat has taken some bold new steps to increase its exposure to writers.

With its new website [still in beta apparently], Acrobat makes its online word processor Buzzword [which we've mentioned in previous posts -- just do a search] even more accessible. There are other online facilities there which will have some appeal to writers as well., plus verion 9 of Acrobat, as well. Check out the TechCrunch announcement.

UPDATE: ReadWriteWeb has followed the announcement with a fuller presentation of the Acrobat Office components and how they work. The discussion of Buzzword is, of course, of particular interest to us. It seems to take document collaboration to a higher level. If you ever need collaboration, this facility may be the best to use.
