I recently learned that our Online Writer’s Office feature, available at a click from the sidebar, has been recommended by PageFlakes, the online facility on which the Office is built. If you haven’t visited the Office, why not take a look now. There’s a lot there, including a gateway to the Zoho word processor, distionaries and other tools, a summary of recent posts on this blog, an accumulation of posts from other blogs and journals of interest to writers, even a gateway to podcasts for writers — all in one place. I’m rather proud of it.

I learned about the PageFlakes recommendation via Google Alerts. The alert facility allows one to enter any keyword or phrase, and Google will send an alert to one’s email box with links to anything new online that matches. You may wish to use this free service to track internet references to your latest book — or perhaps use it as a research tool for an upcoming article. I find the facility invaluable. It’s like a free clip service — and years ago, I used to pay hundreds of dollars a year for that.
