I just went back to the Watership Planner website, nine months after my original visit and post. I was saddened to see that the site still offers the same version which was avaialbe in June 2008. Apparently, this project is seriously stalled. That's a pity, as I had a rather long and detailed correspondence with the developer. He seemed so hopeful for his product, yet also discouraged by the suggestions I offered to reorganize the software's interface.

Kristi, good to hear from you again. The developer of Watership Planner has already gotten in touch with me — he’s very alert, following his one-day discount. Looks like he and I will engage in a long and detailed correspondence. He’s open to feedback; I’m eager to see the program work. I’ll post follow up info here from time to time.

The task manager program sounds like having a personal secretary! I am a little leery of trying it, though, after reading the above comment…

I spent several frustrating hours with Watership Planner. I like what the program is trying to do, but I simply could not get it to work properly.

I tried to build a hierarchical tree of a big project, creating a nest of folders and tasks. For some reason, I was never able to reorder the sequence of folders. When I went to the Help to see instructions, it present screens that I was never able to find.

At one point, thbee program froze and crashed my laptop.

This program is sadly not yet ready. Maybe someday? The concept is good, the execution dismal.
