Freelancers rejoice!  Zoho has added a new facility to its remarkable array of online applications.  Now you can handle all of your free-lance invoicing via Zoho Invoicing.

I have not tried it out, to be honest, since I do not myself invoice anybody.  However, I’ve collected some links below that provide you with much more detail.  From what I’ve read, it’s capable — and it’s free.

Can anyone add more insight into this facility?  If so, leave us a comment — just click the comment link.

I had recently discovered another great resource for freelancers. It is an online invoicing application and you can have a look at http://www.invoicera.com

Christina, I took a look at the Invoicera homepage. That looks very
promising for free-lancers. Thanks for sharing the link.

Thanks! Did you use the application? I did try it a few days back. Found it good and also reported some feedback, as the application is in beta phase. You can also use the application as it is completely free to use and share your views.

Dhristina, thanks for the feedback. I only played with it briefly myself as
I don't often invoice clients. So it's good to receive your comments.

Another online invoicing option is Time59 (http://www.time59.com). It's targeted at solo professionals and provides time and expense tracking and accounts receivable functionality in addition to online invoicing. Bottom line: If you are a solo professional and bill by the hour it is definitely worth a look. The first 30 days are free.

Chris, thanks for sharing info about time59, which is new to me. I've been
intrigued that this particular post has gotten a fair amount of attention,
suggesting that many writers do feel a need for some invoicing support.
