WEbook is a relatively new online community of writers who are aiming at publication.  It has come up with an interesting and very timely project:  to document what people did, thought and felt on Inauguration Day.  The result will be a published book containing 50-75 essays written by WEbook members.  You may wish to join in.

First you must join the WEbook community.  That’s easy to do — and it’s free.

Then you must prepare to share in writing what makes this inauguration day — it’s on 20 January, of course — so special to you.  Submissions are due by the close of 21 January   That’s a fast turn-around.

Participation may yield some useful dividends for you.  Principally, you will come to know more about this interesting website and its very unusual mission.  That may in turn encourage you to do more.  Perhaps you will join in on one of the many group projects that’s underway.  Maybe you’ll write your own short story there — or a series of poems.  Who knows, it may even led you to a published book.

If you do plan to participate, let us know by leaving a comment.  Maybe some others of us will join you.
