GiveAway of the Day is offering LeaderTask 6.1 today for free.  It is a peronal information manager very similar to EssentialPIM, which has been my long-time favorite.  LeaderTask surpasses EssentialPIM in a few areas, espeically in project planning and tracking, that might make it appropriate for some writers.  Ordinarily it costs $49.95, which is expensive — but today only it is available for FREE.  EssentialPIM is free, which enough capability for many writers — EssentialPIM Pro, which I use, costs $29.95.

Even if LeaderTask does not appeal to you, you may still wish to read a remarkably thorough review, one of the best I’ve ever run across for a PIM and packed with excellent, informative screenshots.  This review is almost like a tutorial on how to plan your schedule and manage your affairs.  Read it and you will certainly come away with some fresh ideas you might use in one way or another.

Thanks for alerting me about that link, Barfly. I've checked and discovered
that the real link address to the actual review doesn't work for some
reason. I've given another link now that does work. Just scroll down on
the page until you find the headline for the LeaderTask review.
