While I am not a regular, I do find The Writer’s Chatroom an engaging spot on the internet to visit from time to time. This website hosts scheduled online events on Wednesdays and Sundays. Writers simply sign on and follow a free-flowing internet chat, sometimes with announced guests, sometimes on open topics. I mention it today because the chatroom will be open this Sunday at 7 p.m. to discuss the new website Book View Cafe, a site of special interest to fiction writers.
Book View Cafe is an online venue where co-op of established writers publish their fiction. Here’s a hint, from their self-description, about what they are doing:
Book View Cafe is a consortium of over twenty professional authors with extensive publishing credits in the print world. Every day, new content available nowhere else will be served up on Book View Cafe: short stories, flash fiction, poetry, episodes of serialized novels, and maybe even a podcast now and then.
The group also maintains a daily blog. The group will offer insights into their activities. It’s a brand new approach to promoting one’s writing.
I learned about this upcoming online chat from the Writer’s Chatroom email newsletter. I always read it to see what’s scheduled. I’ve participated in a number of very informative chats — and made some new friends along the way.

Hi Tom,
Thanks for the mention of the BookViewCafe chat at Writers Chat room. This is really a great site you have here. I’m going to have to come back at some point and read your articles on the social media.
Hang in there!

Sue, thanks for your comment. I hope my post brought new people to both Writers Chat Room and BookViewCafe. Both excellent resources.
