I just uncovered a demo video posted this week on YouTube about an intriguing new app for the iPhone/iPod — PadNotes.  Speculation is already hitting the internet that this app become available for the iPad, where it will become very popular.  There are aspects of this application that will be very appealing to writers.  You have to take a look at the video to understand why.

This announcement is so new that there’s no additional information yet from Google search, other than a few tech blogs expressing their praise for this application and what future versions might bring to the iPad.

Maybe I’m missing the point, but it appears to be just a drawing application? It has some fancy looking features, sure – but it does look like MS Paint that can be overlaid onto PDFs or webpages.
